St Kitts & Nevis visas, from Pakistan.

The entry route for Pakistani passport holders, who are on the federation's visa-required list. Filed online on the government e-Visa portal for holidays, family visits, business meetings, property viewings or a CBI site visit — one application, with the purpose stated on the form. You travel with the printed approval and the Immigration Officer issues the visa on arrival. Maximum initial stay 30 days.

• Machine-readable Pakistani passport valid at least six months beyond the intended stay, with a blank visa page
• Completed online e-Visa application plus two recent colour photographs, 35x45mm on a white background
• Personal bank statements for the last three to six months, stamped and attested by the bank
• Employer letter confirming leave, or Form C / business registration and the last two years' FBR tax returns if self-employed
• Confirmed return or onward air ticket and a hotel booking, or a host's invitation letter giving their address in St Kitts or Nevis
• Printed e-Visa approval carried to the airport — the visa itself is stamped on arrival

The initial stamp is normally 30 days. Visitors who need longer apply in person to the Immigration Department in Basseterre (St Kitts) or Charlestown (Nevis) before the current stamp expires. Extensions are discretionary, granted in short blocks, and confer no right to work.

For Pakistani students accepted onto a programme at a recognised St Kitts institution — Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, Windsor University School of Medicine, the University of Medicine and Health Sciences, the International University of Nursing or Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College. Filed on the government e-Visa portal, normally through the university's visa coordinator, and renewed for the length of the course.

• Acceptance letter from the St Kitts institution and a completed Application for a Student Visa
• Bank statements totalling US$12,000 or more in your own, a parent's or a sponsor's name, with a notarised sponsor letter
• Police character certificate issued within the last six months
• Medical records: Mantoux/PPD tuberculosis test, VDRL/RPR result and a full immunisation record
• Passport, birth certificate, passport photographs and a return ticket to Pakistan
• Notarised English translations of any Urdu-language documents

The only lawful route to paid employment for a non-national. Your employer files the application with the Department of Labour — or with the Nevis Island Administration for jobs on Nevis — after advertising the post locally. The permit is tied to one employer and one job and is renewed annually. Non-nationals running their own business in the federation apply for the same permit in their own name, alongside company registration and, where property is bought, an Alien Landholding Licence.

• Signed job offer or contract from an employer registered in St Kitts and Nevis
• Employer's evidence that the vacancy was advertised locally and no national was available
• Degree certificates and professional registrations attested by HEC and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad
• Pakistani police character certificate issued within the last six months
• Passport, valid St Kitts entry visa and two passport photographs
• Renewal filed by the employer before each annual expiry

The flagship and most-used route: a non-refundable contribution to the Sustainable Island State Fund. US$250,000 covers a main applicant alone or a family of up to four. Eligible dependants are the spouse, children under 18, children aged 18–25 in full-time education and fully supported, children over 18 with a disability, and parents aged 55+ of either spouse living with and supported by the applicant. Citizenship is for life, passes to children, and carries no residence or physical-presence obligation — the mandatory interview can be taken virtually.

• US$250,000 contribution for a main applicant or family of up to four; US$25,000 per additional dependant under 18 and US$50,000 per additional dependant aged 18 or over
• Due diligence of US$10,000 for the main applicant and US$7,500 for each dependant aged 16 or over
• Interview with the main applicant — virtual, in St Kitts or at a Board-approved location; dependants aged 16+ may also be called
• Documented source of funds tracing the full amount: FBR returns, audited accounts, sale deeds or inheritance papers
• Police certificates from Pakistan and every country lived in for six months or more since age 16, plus NADRA records, nikah nama and birth certificates with certified English translations
• Filed only through a CIU Authorised Agent — the CIU does not accept applications direct from applicants

A US$250,000 investment into a unit of a CIU-approved public benefit project delivered through an approved entity — currently including National Housing Corporation affordable housing, the Basseterre High School rebuild, the Prime Creative Arts Centre and approved tourism developments. It confers exactly the same citizenship as the contribution route.

Purchase into a CIU-approved development, or of a private residence approved by the CIU: from US$325,000 for a condominium unit or share, or US$600,000 for a single-family home. The property cannot be resold for seven years, and an early sale will not qualify the next buyer for citizenship unless substantial further construction or renovation has been invested in the unit.

• Stamp duty, conveyancing, legal and insurance-fund costs budgeted on top of the purchase price
• Purchase completed through a CIU Authorised Agent after approval-in-principle is issued

A foreign spouse of a St Kitts and Nevis citizen can apply to be registered as a citizen under the Citizenship Act, instead of the 14-year residence route that applies to ordinary naturalisation. The marriage must be genuine and subsisting, and the qualifying period and conditions are set by the Act and confirmed case by case. This is a slow, evidence-heavy route and not a back door into the investment programme.

• Marriage certificate registered in St Kitts and Nevis, or a Pakistani nikah nama with the NADRA marriage registration certificate and a certified English translation
