A bridging permit for non-EEA graduates of an accredited Icelandic university, granted to search for employment matching their qualifications. Under 2023 reforms to the Foreign Nationals Act it can now be renewed for up to three years from the date of graduation, up from the previous six-month limit, before the holder must move onto a standard work permit.
