Brunei visas, from Pakistan.

Brunei's standard tourist and family-visit visa, issued single or multiple entry for short stays. Pakistani passports are Category A, so the visa must be obtained in advance at the Brunei High Commission in Islamabad — there is no visa on arrival.

• Completed Brunei visa application form with two passport photos, lodged at the High Commission of Brunei Darussalam, Islamabad
• Confirmed return air ticket plus hotel booking, or an invitation letter from a Brunei resident sponsor with a copy of their IC or pass
• Personal bank statements for the last 6 months showing funds for the full stay
• Documents in English, or Urdu documents with certified English translation

For board meetings, negotiations, exhibitions, site visits and exploring investment opportunities in Brunei. Short-term only — it does not permit paid employment or hands-on project work.

• Invitation letter from a Brunei-registered company or event organiser, on letterhead, naming you and the dates
• Covering letter from your Pakistani employer with company registration (SECP/FBR) and NTN documents
• Passport valid at least 6 months and a confirmed return air ticket
• Company or personal bank statements for the last 6 months
• Brunei guarantor details where the High Commission requires one

The route for diploma, degree, master's and PhD study at Universiti Brunei Darussalam, UTB, UNISSA, Politeknik Brunei and approved private colleges. The institution acts as sponsor and files the Student Pass with the Immigration Department after you arrive.

• Unconditional offer letter from a recognised Brunei institution
• Written sponsorship from the institution, which lodges the Student Pass with the Immigration Department
• Medical examination including chest X-ray and blood tests at an approved centre
• Proof of tuition and living funds (bank statements or sponsor affidavit) plus medical insurance
• HEC-attested and MOFA-attested HSSC/degree transcripts, with IELTS or institution-accepted English evidence

The main work authorisation for professionals, technicians and skilled staff employed by a Brunei-registered company. Immigration approves the application filed by the employer, then transmits the approval to the Brunei High Commission in Islamabad, where you collect the visa endorsement before travelling.

• Job offer and employment contract from a Brunei-registered company
• Employer holds a valid Foreign Worker Licence (Lesen Pekerja Asing / Form BUR 500) and a Labour Department job order against your post
• Completed Form 23 with two recent photographs and a passport valid 6+ months
• HEC- and MOFA-attested degree, trade certificates and experience letters in English
• Medical examination including blood test and chest X-ray, plus a police character certificate
• Pass is tied to one employer — changing jobs requires a fresh licence and pass

Short-term visa and pass for specialists, engineers and technical staff carrying out expertise-based work on a specific project or contract in Brunei. A Brunei company representative must sponsor the application. It is not a shortcut into a Work Pass.

• Copy of the contract, purchase order or service agreement awarded in Brunei
• Certified evidence of technical qualifications and professional experience
• Passport valid at least 6 months with confirmed travel dates
• Exit and a fresh application are required for any longer-term engagement

One of three Long Term Pass streams operated by Brunei's Immigration Department, for foreign experts and professionals whose skills are judged to benefit national development. Duration, criteria and fees are not published and are set case by case.

• Documented expertise in a field Brunei recognises as beneficial to national development
• Written sponsorship from a Brunei-registered employer or institution
• Attested qualifications, salary evidence and a detailed professional track record
• Application and forms obtained from the Immigration Department headquarters in Bandar Seri Begawan
• Criteria and validity confirmed directly by Immigration — nothing is published in advance

The investor and business-owner stream of Brunei's Long Term Pass, for foreign company owners and investors who meet Immigration's criteria and contribute to Brunei's socio-economic development. This is Brunei's nearest equivalent to an investor route — it is not citizenship or residency by investment.

• Documented ownership of, or investment in, a company incorporated and licensed in Brunei
• Certificate of incorporation, business licence and audited accounts
• Evidence of economic contribution such as local jobs created and taxes paid
• Application and forms obtained from the Immigration Department headquarters in Bandar Seri Begawan
• Eligibility criteria and pass duration are decided by Immigration case by case

For the spouse and minor children of a Brunei pass holder, applied for on Form 25. Dependants may live and study in Brunei but have no right to work on this pass.

• Sponsor holds a valid Work Pass or other qualifying Brunei pass
• Completed Form 25 with passport copies and photographs for each dependant
• NADRA-issued nikah nama and children's birth certificates, attested and translated into English
• Sponsor's employment letter, recent salary slips and tenancy agreement
• Medical examination for each dependant aged 12 and over
• No employment permitted — a working spouse needs her own employer and Foreign Worker Licence

The family-ties stream of Brunei's Long Term Pass, for foreign nationals with family ties to Brunei citizens or permanent residents who do not yet qualify for permanent residence. Duration and criteria are set by Immigration case by case.

• Documented family tie to a Brunei citizen or permanent resident (spouse, child or parent)
• Bruneian sponsor's IC copy, proof of income and proof of accommodation
• Marriage or birth certificates attested by MOFA Pakistan and legalised, with English translation
• Evidence that the applicant does not yet meet permanent residence criteria
• Application and forms obtained from the Immigration Department in Bandar Seri Begawan
